Day 1

Welcome to Casablanca, the Grand City!

Your wonderful Moroccan adventure begins the moment we greet you in Casablanca. Today, you will discover the country’s largest and most modern city. The highlight of the day is a visit to the spectacular Hassan II Mosque. As one of the world’s largest mosques, its location right over the Atlantic Ocean makes it completely unique. After enjoying the sea breeze and taking plenty of photos, we will take you to your comfortable hotel so you can relax and prepare for an exciting week ahead.

Day 2
 

The Elegant Capital and the Blue Pearl

After a delicious breakfast, we will leave Casablanca and head to Rabat, the elegant capital of Morocco. There, we will explore the impressive Hassan Tower and the beautiful Oudayas Kasbah by the river. Then, we’ll travel north into the lush Rif Mountains to Chefchaouen, famously known as the Blue Pearl.

 You’ll have the whole afternoon to yourself to stroll through the peaceful, blue-painted medina. It’s the perfect place to relax, take amazing photos, and breathe in the fresh mountain air before settling into a cozy local riad for the night.

Roman Ruins and Imperial Cities

Today, we say goodbye to the Blue City and take a step back in time. Our first stop is Volubilis, where you can wander through stunningly well-preserved ancient Roman ruins and admire colorful mosaic floors that have survived for centuries. Next, we’ll take a short drive to Meknes, an imperial city, to see the massive, beautifully detailed Bab Mansour gate. By late afternoon, we will arrive in Fes, the spiritual and cultural heart of Morocco. We will drop you off at your beautiful riad inside the old city for a restful evening.

Exploring the Magic of the Fes Medina

Prepare to immerse yourself in the oldest and largest car-free medina in the world! After enjoying a delicious Moroccan breakfast, a friendly local guide will lead you on a walking tour through Fes’s thousands of winding alleyways. History comes alive here.

 You’ll visit the famous tanneries, where leather is naturally dyed in huge, colorful vats, just as it was centuries ago. You will also marvel at stunning traditional madrasas (schools) and explore bustling souks filled with handmade treasures. The evening is yours to relax back at your riad.

Monkeys, Mountains, and the Golden Sahara

We’re up early today to begin our scenic drive south toward the desert. Our first stop is Ifrane, a spotless and charming town often called the “Switzerland of Morocco.” Next, we’ll walk through the cedar forests near Azrou to visit the friendly wild Barbary macaque monkeys. As we drive through Midelt and the spectacular Ziz Valley, watch the green mountains transform into a dramatic, arid landscape.

 By late afternoon, we’ll arrive in Merzouga. There, you’ll ride a camel across the glowing dunes of the Sahara. You’ll spend a magical night at a desert camp, enjoying delicious food and listening to traditional Berber drum music under a starry sky.

 
 
Day 6
 
 

Fossils, Canyons, and the Dades Valley

Be sure to wake up early—you won’t forget the sunrise over the Sahara dunes! After enjoying a hearty breakfast at your camp, ride your camel back to the edge of the desert to meet your driver. Then, we will journey west through Rissani and Erfoud, a town famous for its ancient fossil workshops. By the afternoon, we’ll arrive at the Todra Gorges. The towering rock walls reach hundreds of meters into the sky, providing the perfect setting for a peaceful riverside walk. We’ll finish the day in the beautiful Dades Valley, where you’ll spend the night surrounded by unique, winding rock formations.

The Kasbah Trail to the Red City

On our last day, we will drive through the Valley of Roses, where the locals harvest pink roses to make fragrant rosewater. We’ll pass the lush palm groves of Skoura and the famous movie studios in Ouarzazate. Today’s main highlight is Ait Benhaddou, a massive clay fortress and UNESCO World Heritage Site that has starred in movies such as Gladiator.

 After exploring this breathtaking castle, we will drive up and over the spectacular High Atlas Mountains via the winding Tizi N’Tichka Pass. We’ll arrive in the vibrant “Red City” of Marrakech in the evening and drop you off at your hotel, bringing your unforgettable Moroccan road trip to a close.
